Saturday was a lazy day for me. I was browsing possible cash sources and came across List My 5. As you may have seen in my Increase Your Wealth Hub, I like the idea of multiple streams of income. At present I am in the market for an additional stream, well who isn't?
I have a fixed income at the moment having reached my limit of non inflationary pay rises. I also will soon face the added obligation of needing to pay back the student loans I took out for my BA Degree which I just graduated from. So together with hoped for income from stocks and bonds I am facing a period of reduced income.
What is List My 5?
So you might be asking "What is List My 5?"
The premise behind the website is that authors of posts choose a list of linked items and produce a list with notes as to why they place items in the order they do. When posted the page is used as a base for Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising.
As with all PPC advertising the author is paid when a visitor to their site or list clicks to go to an advertisers link.
At present List My 5 is not a large group they announced a few weeks ago a list of 1,500 regular and active listers. They are hoping for 3,000 by the end of the year.
Is it "Hubpages?"
No it is not another HubPages
The lists are much smaller than an average 7-800 word Hubpage. List my 5, lends itself to short and succinct publishing. You name an item then describe your personal ideas of pro's and con's then move on to the next item in your list.
I have seen lists varying from "Choosing a Franchise" to "The Five Worst Drinks When Dieting". The website will probably suit the best Hubpagers and those who need to write short articles on good revenue producing products and services. If you fit into these categories and need a "quickie" writing fix List My 5 might be a possible extra income stream for you.
Sign-up
I found sign-up very simple. I registered with little need for typing via my Facebook account.
Following sign-up I was offered the chance to submit a list or sign up for there Writers Compensation Program (WCP). Registering with the WCP was also simple taking a few moments to register. In less than one hour I had gone from looking over the website to publishing my first list.

Hello Sharyn, As of today, my lists (4 of them)have had a hundred views but no mention of income. But as we know four days and four posts is not a lot to go on. But I plan to report every few months or so on the progress I make. Thanks for your comment.
